Instagram and Facebook
Art was always a secondary passion of mine alongside music. Since music took a backseat during the pandemic, I decided to get creative.
I created the website, email account, socials, and largely managed them. My co-founder and I created month-long units, created the projects ourselves, taught the classes and posted highlights online.
Participants would register via Google form and receive a link to an Amazon shopping list for any supplies needed and the zoom link. Scroll through some of our screenshots and posts for social media.
It was very important to me that we had 2 facilitators in each class. One would teach while the other watched and answered questions that were in the chat. 2020 Zoom culture was at it's height and we wanted to make it as streamlined and friendly as possible.
In the summer of 2023, classes were taught in person.
We focused on Great Artists like Georgia O'Keeffe, Monet, and Picasso.
The classes were geared toward elementary through high school ages.
I not only taught the classes, but advertised on neighborhood and homeschooling social media pages, took payments, posted completed work, and coordinated with parents and volunteers.
